Guidelines for Private Postal Station
A postal station is a facility established and operated by a private person or entity or local government unit in accordance with guidelines issued by the Philippine Postal Corporation (Philpost) for the purpose of performing postal business and functions specifically authorized and enumerated in the permit issued by the corporation.
Classifications of Postal Station
Class A–Operated by private individual or firm and authorized to sell postage stamps and other postal products including the acceptance of recorded and unrecorded (ordinary) mails.
Class B–Operated by private individual or firm and authorized to sell postage stamps and other postal products but limited to acceptance of ordinary mails.
Class C–Operated by an educational institution (campus postal station) for the purpose of selling postage stamps and accepting ordinary mails only.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A POSTAL STATION
1.Applicants shall file their application for accreditation to the concerned Regional Office, e.g. Metro Manila sites shall apply at the NCR Regional Office Marketing Division, 3rd Floor, Postal Bank Bldg., Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.
2.The operator shall purchase stamps on cash basis from the Post Office within the locality where the mailing station is located and sell the same at a mark-up.
* Ordinary domestic/international mails shall have a mark-up not to exceed 20% of a basic postage rates.
* All other mails shall have a mark-up, the rate of which to be determined by market forces, but not to exceed 50%.
3.The operator of postal station shall enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Philpost.
