The Philippine Postal Corporation issues today, the limited edition Commemorative Cover celebrating the 77th Birth Anniversary of President Corazon C. Aquino. This is one of the series of special edition philatelic products for the late President, who was hailed as the Icon of Democracy.
Postmaster General and CEO Hector R.R. Villanueva, who is also the Chairperson of the Stamp Committee, had earlier approved the issuance of Cory Stamps last September 8, 2009 and the Second Edition Cory Stamps last September 18, 2009.
The Commemorative Cover for the 77th Birth Anniversary of PCCA is sold at Php22.00 only. Initially, it is available at the Central Office, Postage and Philatelic Department. The special sale is good while supply lasts. Collectors are encourage to avail of this special edition now.
